  • A huge thank you to Kelsey Adams from the IUP Philanthropy Council! She talked to the Ambassadors about the importance of philanthropy for our university. If you get the chance, text NORM to 90947 to learn more about IUP philanthropy and for the opportunity to win prizes!
  • Thank you to Faith Elmes for informing the Ambassadors of two important dates: LGBT Ally training is April 17th and the Lavender Graduation (a graduation ceremony for LGBT students and their allies) will be held  April 24th.
  • Senior Brooke Bachy has been offered two teaching jobs, one in Orange County, Florida and one in Union County, North Carolina, following graduation. Congratulations Brooke!
  • Last but not least, the Ambassadors welcomed 20 new members to the Ambass Family! A huge thank you to Matt O’Hara and the recruitment committee for all their hard work. Next week, the Ambassador “buddies” will be revealed at the annual “Buddy Reveal”. A current member takes on the role as a mentor to the new members and helps them to get acquainted with the group as their “buddy”.

Congratulations to our Ambassador of the Week: Rachel Doig!
